
| Ms. Marazon has also authored several Catholic publications including Charisms of the Holy Spirit: Tools for the New Evangelization; Deliverance Prayer: A Matter of Wisdom, Discernment, and Obedience and “The Simple Blessing Prayer”, The Catholic Handbook of Child Growth, Development, and Learning, and Renewing The Renewal—A Firestorm In The Catholic Church and has written several articles for Pentecost Today. She has served as Healing Ministry Coordinator, Ministry for the Diocese of Toledo, Catholic Charismatic Renewal from 1986-1991 and again from 1996 to 2009. She has presented workshops at national and local Catholic conferences and has ministered in Trinidad as well as across the U.S. giving retreats, parish missions, days of renewal, and seminars on many topics including healing, prayer, parish and Church renewal, the mystics, growth in the Spirit, raising children for heaven, moral and spiritual development. She is a gifted teacher and motivational speaker, passionate about the gift of the Church, filled with zeal for living in the Spirit, dedicated to helping others encounter the living Christ, and eager to support others in their journey to know the Father’s Love. In her varying roles, she expresses a passion for the child that draws others to continually see each child as a unique gift from God. Her message is constant-- “Look to the child. Check in with the child. See the child as competent and gifted.” She is married to David. They have four children and eight grandchildren. |

| Renee Marazon is a leader in K-12 best practices and K-12 maritime training and education. She is the founder and driving force behind The Maritime Academy of Toledo, a grade 5 through 12 community school that integrates nautical/maritime-based themes across traditional subject areas. After serving as school Superintendent from 2006 to 2013, Ms. Marazon retired and was named President of the Academy. The Maritime Academy is Ohio’s first Mariner Career Tech Education program with a State of Ohio approved Course of Study that prepares students for maritime jobs and college. In 2010, Ms. Marazon was named CEO of The Maritime Academy of Toledo Foundation which supports The Academy through its nine US Coast Guard approved professional mariner courses. Ms Marazon is partnering with Owens Community College to create a “Degree for Sea” scope and sequence course of study, integrating mariner credentials to their variety of two-year degrees such as nursing, culinary/hospitality, accounting, administration, welding, electrical, plumbing, etc. Ms. Marazon’s received a Masters in Career and Technology Education from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Education in French and English from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Her Professional and Leadership roles in education span more than 40 years. She has received over three million dollars in grants. Between 1983 to 1997, her career highlights included serving as chairperson and founder of the teacher education program at Lourdes University. She has authored over 15 publications for parents and teachers. Ms. Marazon has also served as a consultant to Family Communications, Inc. (Mister Rogers' Neighborhood) and was a member of the Puzzle Place Outreach Advisory Board (KCET, California PTV). Additionally, she has served as a consultant to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Ms. Marazon has been a popular speaker at local, state, and national conferences. From 1997 to 2005, she served as an Air Force Trainer and Consultant to spread the news of The Marazon System. She is widely published in the field of education in what is known as “The Marazon System. In addition to her educational books, Ms. Marazon has been published in professional journals including Young Children and the Training and Development Journal. |
