|The Mellwood Gallery is our home and it is where KWS classes and workshops are held. Members also hold regular classes in the
Tom Scott is a well-known artist, retired college art teacher, and our KWS 2013 Master Painter. His group paints on Thursdays for a 4
or 8 week session. Artists work on their own and he offers suggestions and a critique at the end of every session. Everyone is

Total cost for all 8 classes: KWS members $50/non-members $55

Luci Mistratov, teaches several levels of watercolor classes. She taught watercolor in Russia for many years before moving to the
Louisville area. Luci offers a loose technique with unusual twists. She brings a free style of watercolor to KWS.
January 5th-February 2nd - Her class will meet Saturdays for 5 weeks, 10am - 1pm

The KWS Gallery is a working art gallery. When in the Louisville area, please stop by and visit! KWS has a fine group of artist's works

Our next Gallery Meeting is Sat, Aug. 24th at 10am at our Mellwood Gallery location. KWS Gallery Members, please be prepared to remove all your paintings
from the gallery along with any other items that belong to you. KWS will be closing its doors at Mellwood Art Center Sat. Aug. 31st, As most of you know, we are
moving the KWS Gallery to 4836 Brownsboro Center. At the meeting, we will discuss displaying our work and our roll as KWS Gallery Members at the new gallery site.
Please mark your calendars now and make every effort to attend. We need everyone's input to make our new KWS Gallery successful.
Plans are being made for our first show in the new gallery highlighting the Castleman Statue Art Competition. If you didn't enter a painting in this Competition,
do not despair. You can still do a painting of The Castleman Statue or Cherokee Triangle and be a part of this show. Paintings under a half sheet will be accepted.
